Deepti Kaushal Has Learned E Of Events From The Institute

How has the Institute helped you in moulding your career?

“I have started my career at the Institute. I have learnt the E of events, they are my roots. So, what I am today they have given me the best and biggest platform any student can get. Because of the teacher and the kind of environment we  had, the kind of opportunities we got during our courses, It was tremendous.” 

Can you tell us memorable events that you have been part of?

“One very very good memory, When I was working with the DNA network and I was handling the Mohali Stadium during the Worldcup. When we got the schedule, it was only 2 matches and the last semifinal match. The first two matches had very little crowd. But the last match was India vs Pakistan in our stadium. It was a huge day for us and that was the biggest event I have handled in my entire career.”

What are your thoughts about the event Industry in the year 2022?

“The last two year has been very tough. But now in upcoming years people have become used to this situation. There is no doubt that our industry and the hotel industry has been impacted the most. But in the upcoming year 2022 I can see the hope and  the positive side that our industry will recover.”

What do you think of the upcoming college fest Event (EMpulse)?

“By giving such platforms to students they will get an opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas. They get a chance to  feel  the real world and overcome their fears if they have and give chance to the thoughts and  doubts they are having. So, I think these kinds  of events and festivals are great opportunities and  they should participate and should look forward to it.”

Any Piece of Advice for the Students of team.i

“Our Industry is definitely very challenging, the only thing is that enjoy your work like doesn’t matter what challenges you face, you need to accept them and be ready to face any ups and downs. Make up your mind and then go ahead, you will definitely Shine. If you are passionate about your work you will definitely grow.”
