Celebration of 77th Year of Indian Independence by students of team.i – one of the leading Event management colleges in India

On the morning of August 15th, 2023, sharing the common emotions of elation, excitement and pride, the students, faculty, staff and guests in attendance came together to celebrate the 77th Independence Day at one of the leading Event management colleges in India, team.i – The Entertainment and Media Institute.

The journey from colonial subjugation to sovereign strength has been marked by tremendous progress, challenges, and the relentless spirit of its people. As the future of this great nation lies in the strength of its youth today, on this auspicious occasion, at team.i, one of the leading Event management colleges in India let’s delve into the significance of India’s Independence Day and take a glimpse at the strides made and the aspirations that lie ahead.

In preparation for this grand celebration, the students of team.i took great pleasure in donning the hats of organizer, planner, and executor at the same time. With several tasks to be completed in a short span of time, each student took it upon themselves to ensure that no stone was left unturned in ensuring that everything was in place before the big day.

Tri colored balloons, badges printed with the Indian flag, face painting and choreographing dance and song performances were just a few of the many duties that the students were asked to perform and in doing so, learned a great deal about the nitty gritty of event planning and management, including:

• Putting an event together from scratch
• Time Management
• Working under pressure
• Large scale planning
• Budgeting
• Creative thinking
• Problem solving
• Event Flow creation

With a c-suite audience to cater to, the students were under a lot of pressure to deliver to the best of their abilities and deliver, they did! Being a part of an industry such as the entertainment and media industry, learning important skills and gaining the confidence required to excel in the real world, comes with a lot of challenges and experiences that allow them to learn, re-learn and unlearn all the time.

Putting together a great script and hosting the event is itself one of the biggest aspects that can make or break the success of the event. Following the great performances that were put together by all the students, the speeches covered the milestones of progress:
