How did the Institute help you mould your career?
Ayushi gives more than 95% credit for her career to the Institute. Even today she maintained her Excel Sheet the same way she used to do it in the Institute. She feels grateful, back then where there was no concept of event management, the institute opened a world of opportunities for her to explore and work on her dreams. She explains that it’s not only the theory or practical she learned, the discipline she adopted from the Institute that made her what she is today.
Can you tell us memorable events that you have been part of?
The first event she planned as an “Event Manager” for a launch of a company, It was a road show but due to some issues things didn’t go well, she was very worried and called her Boss, conveyed the situation. From that day she learned a valuable lesson that “ Doesn’t matter how miserable you are inside, you can’t show it to the people, you need to stand still and do the Job”.
What are your thoughts about events in the year 2021?
“Due to pandemic, it’s great to see how people are adapting to the new change, and it’s great to see how these events going on online route had opened up another avenue of income”
Why do you think the upcoming event managers in future should participate in the Event (EMpulse)?
“Marketing plays a major role in selling the product, if you are event manager, it’s not only about logistics, operations or putting things into place, but the most important is marketing the product”.Ayushi is impressed with the concept of EMpulse, marketing strategy of EMpulse, how it is pushing people to upgrade their marketing skills and to be unique.
Any Advice for the upcoming Event Managers?
“After being in this Industry for this long, there is enough work for everybody, event management is such a vast line. People are exploring to find their specialised or a particular niche they want to work inside event management.”
“If you want to be an Event Manager, you got to be evolve, you got to be open what comes your way then find your niche and do your best”
